Florida Unarmed Security Officer (D License)

The State of Florida requires that all Security Officers hold a D LICENSE. A minimum of 40 hours of training as required by the State of Florida Department of Licensing pursuant to Section 493.6123 (1).

Even though you need 40 hours, the State allows you to do 24 hours initially, then return by June 29, 2007 to obtain the additional 16 hours of training.

RG Security offers the initial 24 hours of training every Tuesday-Wednesday or Saturday-Sunday, 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM. Cost is $60.00 and includes materials for the class, photos and fingerprints.

The additional 16 hours of training is held the last Monday and Tuesday of each month from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. It costs $50.00 and includes application & notary service. There are no hidden charges.
